Updates

Section titled “Recommended setup”

Keep General > Background auto-update on and Alpha updates off. This follows the stable channel and installs updates automatically.

Automatic restart can interrupt unsaved work inside the back2vibing app window. Turn background updates off if you need to choose the restart time yourself.

Check manually

Section titled “Check manually”

Open the menu bar and choose Check for Updates.

When an update is available, back2vibing shows the version and release notes before installation. If no update is available, no install prompt appears.

Alpha channel

Section titled “Alpha channel”

Enable General > Alpha updates only when you want early changes and can tolerate instability. Turn it off to return to stable releases.
