Why Use the Tray
Section titled “Why Use the Tray”The menu bar tray is the fastest way to manage back2vibing while you work in other apps.
You can toggle behavior, jump to sessions, view usage, and run update checks in one click.
Menu Structure by Access
Section titled “Menu Structure by Access”If app access is not active
Section titled “If app access is not active”You will see a minimal menu:
- Activate License
- Check for Updates…
- Quit back2vibing
If app access is active
Section titled “If app access is active”You will see the full control menu:
- Enable/Disable back2vibing
- Mute/Unmute Sounds
- Show Session Dock (Pro)
- Recent Sessions submenu (Pro)
- Focus Strategy submenu
- Pinned usage rows (if any)
- Open Settings…
- Check for Updates…
- Quit back2vibing
Session Controls in Tray
Section titled “Session Controls in Tray”The Recent Sessions submenu includes:
- recent active sessions for quick focus
- Manage Sessions… to open the Sessions tab
- Clear All Sessions
Use this when you want to clean up or switch contexts without opening the full navigation flow first.
Usage Rows in Tray
Section titled “Usage Rows in Tray”Pinned quotas from Usage Tracking appear directly in the tray.
- Each row shows remaining % and a compact progress indicator.
- Clicking a usage row opens the Usage tab and refreshes data immediately.
- A Last Updated row appears when usage data is available.

- Session cleanup and reset: Sessions -> Tray Shortcuts for Sessions

Common Fast Actions
Section titled “Common Fast Actions”- Need quiet mode but keep focus behavior? Use Mute Sounds.
- Need to pause all behavior? Use Disable back2vibing.
- Need to review app state? Use Open Settings….
